IT Assist is an active member of the product management team
Working as part of the product management team, IT Assist's core objective is to support pre-launch readiness and post-launch tracking, analysis and evaluation efforts. Incorporating measures that reduce the difficulty and improve the effectiveness of activities such as:
- Making sure operational support systems are setup and ready to go including ordering, billing and customer support processes.
- Staying engaged with customers, partners and customer-facing teams such as sales and customer care
- Analyzing external marketplace, customers, vendors, and competitors to determine appropriate future features.
- Capturing and understanding the needs and dependencies of internal teams (sales, support, marketing, and development) to help their effort where reasonable and valuable.
We help guarantee the integrity of business requirements to the deployed product through project artifact review for inconsistencies and anomalies.
We also work to provide training and knowledge transfer to increase technical knowledge and awareness. Additionally help with prototyping, proof of concept, evaluation efforts and value adding tool development.
Additionally, we strive to lead by example and provide an environment where:
- Day-to-day conversations do not get lost in IM sessions and emails.
- Collaboration and knowledge sharing is not cumbersome and ties into the management of tasks the team needs to get done.
